Tractor KENTAVR 404SCU — a powerful all-wheel-drive tractor with a cab for year-round operation KENTAVR 404SCU is a modern 4×4 tractor with 40 hp, equipped with a cab with heating, a fan and a windshield wiper. Ideally suited for field, municipal and farm work in any season. Reliable transmission, a functional hitch system and a comfortable driver’s workplace make this model a universal solution for everyday tasks. Engine The tractor is equipped with a JDM490T3 diesel engine with 4 vertically arranged cylinders and a displacement of 2545 cm³. Rated power — 40 hp (29.4 kW) at 2300 rpm. The electric starter system is supported by an electric glow-plug heater for reliable starting in cold weather. Air is cleaned through an oil filter with a metal mesh and a monocyclone, and the fuel undergoes two-stage filtration (sedimenter and JX0809). Cooling system — closed type with expansion tank, capacity — 10.5 L. Fuel consumption ≤245 g/kW·h — economy and endurance first and foremost. Transmission and chassis The mechanical gearbox has the formula (4+1)×2: low and high range. Travel speed — from 0.39 to 31.97 km/h forward, up to 12.76 km/h reverse. Single-plate dry clutch, differential lock and a front axle that can be disengaged — all for better traction and control. Brakes — mechanical drum type, with a separate parking brake. Hydraulic volumetric steering with a separate pump and reservoir makes steering easy even under load. Wide ground clearance of 390 mm allows work on rough terrain without risk of damage. Construction and hitch system The model has a cab with a windshield wiper, heating, fan and radio, creating comfortable conditions in any weather. Rear three-point hitch with a hydraulic lift capacity of 550 kg allows attaching a wide range of equipment. The PTO with rear placement has two speeds: 540 / 720 rpm and supports simultaneous towing and driving of mounted equipment. The hydraulic system provides 2 outlets for connecting implements and has a separate 6.5 L tank. Wheelbase — 1830 mm (front 7.50-16, rear 11.2-24) provides stability in the field. Comfort and electrical equipment The driver’s workplace is equipped with a suspended seat, adjustable for distance to the steering wheel. The instrument panel is informative, with indicators and gauges. The lighting group includes main headlights, position lights, turn signal repeaters, as well as a moisture-protected trailer socket (35 W). A 750 W generator supports the operation of all electronics. Basic equipment: metal fenders, a toolbox for spare parts, hazard warning lights, interior cab lighting.
