Tractor KENTAVR 404XU — a powerful and reliable four-wheel-drive 40 hp tractor for versatile tasks. Engine The tractor is equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine KM490VT with a displacement of 2545 cm³ and a rated power of 40 hp (29.4 kW) with direct fuel injection. A contact-oil air filter with an oil bath, paper element, metal mesh and cyclone separator provides reliable dust protection. An electric glow plug is installed to facilitate cold starts. The 65 L fuel tank allows long operation without refueling. Transmission and chassis Mechanical gear transmission with a main gearbox of 4 speeds and two additional reduction gears plus neutral. A separate reverse gearbox is available. Clutch — two-disc, constantly engaged. Hydrostatic steering with a separate pump and tank provides comfortable control. Four-wheel drive 4×4 improves passability. Rear drum brakes with separate pedals synchronized for simultaneous action. There is a rear axle differential lock to increase passability. Hitch system Universal three-point rear hitch with drive from two hydraulic cylinders. Power take-off (PTO) with rotational speeds 540–1000 rpm. The hydraulic system has two hydraulic outlets (pressure and return) with quick-release couplings, controlled from the main hydraulic distributor. A removable pendulum drawbar is available for towing. Ergonomics and equipment Shock-absorbing seat with adjustable distance to the steering wheel and armrests.
