Thanks to its V-belt drive, the DTZ 470BN has a number of tangible advantages over walk-behind tractors with similar power but a direct gear drive. First of all, the belt drive simultaneously serves as a power transmission, a clutch, and a safety system element. If during operation the rotary tiller suddenly jams on a stone or a stick, the belt drive cushions the shock and prevents damage to the engine and gearbox. In addition, a tractor with a belt drive is significantly lighter in weight and cheaper in price, and also simpler and more convenient to operate and maintain. A gasoline engine at the same power costs less than a diesel one, has lower weight which is important for ease of steering the walk-behind tractor, starts easily at low air temperatures, makes less noise, and is also simpler and cheaper to service and operate, and less sensitive to fuel quality. This tractor has a bracket for front-mounted implements, for example a mower, which can be easily connected using the free pulley on the drive pulley. The steering adjustment for height and steering angle is quick and convenient, the tiller working width is variable: 570 and 810 mm. All DTZ walk-behind tractors come with a 2-year warranty.

Description
