Altek SR208C is a controller for a heliothermal system in a monoblock design, managing a closed-loop hydraulic system (solar collectors, storage tank and pump group). When temperature sensors Pt1000 for vacuum collectors and NTC10K (or B3950) for the expansion tank are connected, the user gains the ability to automatically (factory presets or manually configured) control the operation of the pump group and the auxiliary electric heater.

The SR208C controller must be mounted so that it is not exposed to water and not subjected to high temperatures (it must not be placed in the immediate vicinity of a solid fuel boiler). In addition, it must be connected to the mains through a fuse or circuit breaker. The process is described in detail in the "user manual" supplied with the equipment.

SR208C controllers provide the following functions:

emergency shutdown of the solar collector;

protection against operation at low temperature;

protection of the heliosystem from freezing;

tank cooling.

You can also set a password on the system so that no one can accidentally change the operating mode of the heating system.
