The main distinction of this model is the ability to connect a large number of heat energy sources that use both fossil fuel (gas, solid fuel boilers) and alternative energy sources (solar collectors, heat pumps, electric boilers) to obtain energy.
The combination of several energy sources increases the efficiency of both the heating system itself and each individual energy source by using a source when it is most effective and economical.
