Rakes for tractor, Polish 5-wheel tedder "Sonechko" are excellently suited for work on large areas, used for gathering finished raw material from meadow and field hayfields, intended for collecting dry grass, forming loose windrows of dried hay, turning windrows and teddering plant mass in swaths for fastest drying.
The 5-wheel Polish rakes are mounted on a mini tractor with power from 24 horsepower, using a rear three-point hitch mounting system. The five working wheels are fixed on independent suspensions; hubs with bearings provide good wheel rotation and accurate terrain following, while the close contact of the steel spokes with the field surface noticeably improves the quality of collected mown mass.
The main frame and subframes are made of strong steel profile tubes; the main frame has two damping springs that protect the 5-wheel Polish tedder rakes "Sonechko" from damage in case the machine runs into hard obstacles. The adjustable working width allows the unit to treat an area from 210 to 310 cm in one pass, achieving a productivity of 2.5 ha/h.
