A convenient single-row Bomet potato planter for a mini tractor is available and is ideal for planting work on private plots or small farms. It is attached to tractors with power from 18 horsepower via a rear three-point hitch. It is equipped with a 90 L metal hopper containing an elevator-type planting mechanism inside.
The planting distance of the Bomet potato planter is adjusted, like all similar models of this brand, using support wheels of original design. The soil-engaging elements consist of several separate segments that are fastened to the wheel base with metal plates with special holes to change the wheel diameter. The required planting spacing is set by increasing or decreasing the diameter of the soil-engaging elements and is 29-32-35 cm.
During operation, the Polish potato planter hooks tubers on small scoops and lifts them on the conveyor to the discharge tube, through which the tuber falls into the furrow cut by the share. Two wedge-shaped ridgers cover the potato with soil on both sides, forming an even soil ridge. The ridgers are equipped with adjustable wings for more effective covering of the crop; the planting depth is determined by the position of the share and the wheel diameter, within 10-15 cm.
On top of the discharge tube there is the head of the planting mechanism and a tensioner with a spring that prevents sagging of the conveyor belt during work. The single-row Bomet potato planter for a mini tractor is made of quality durable material, equipped with a strong frame resistant to significant mechanical loads, and a special platform for the operator is installed at the rear of the unit.

Description
