The inter-row cultivator for a walk-behind tractor KMO-1.8U effectively performs cultivation of medium and large land plots - it provides quality loosening of the soil between rows of planted crops, removes weeds by cutting their root system, and when reconfigured can hill rows or cut furrows for plant irrigation. It is equipped with a sturdy profiled frame with a working width of 1.8 m and three independent sections.
The inter-row cultivator KMO-1.8U is attached to a walk-behind tractor with power from 12 horsepower by a reinforced rear single-point hitch, fixed to the front cross beam with bolt fastenings. The working sections are located on the second transverse tube using ladders and plates, which allow adjustment of the position of the units relative to the frame, easily setting the required inter-row spacing.
Each section is equipped with a arrow-shaped share and a pair of one-sided flat-cutters - all elements have adjustable fastenings, allowing quick changes to the height of implements, setting the required working depth - up to 10 cm. The presence of support wheels with damping springs makes it possible to adjust the inter-row cultivator for a walk-behind tractor KMO-1.8U to the terrain features of the worked areas and achieve maximum productivity - 1.05 ha/h on plots with soils of any complexity.
