Description of the potato harvester conveyor DTZ-1T-50 The mounted single-row conveyor potato harvester is used for high-performance mechanized harvesting of potatoes and other root crops planted in rows with a burial depth of up to 15 cm. It is installed on a 3-point hitch, connected to the tractor power take-off shaft by a driveshaft of standard length. It has a rigid housing in which a conveyor made of durable metal rods of circular cross-section is mounted. The conveyor is assembled without the use of any connecting elements; its links hook directly into each other, which gives it exceptional efficiency, reliability and durability. The conveyor is driven through a sealed bevel gearbox; all bearing units of the drive shaft and supporting rollers are also located in sealed housings. The knife is made from a single sheet of metal by deep stamping. It has a complex innovative cutting-edge shape that provides an optimal furrow profile and undercutting of the side walls. A deflector comb is installed at the rear of the housing to direct the flow of root crops in the desired direction. The maximum digging depth is limited by the support wheels, whose track width varies from 80 to 130 cm. The transverse position of the potato harvester relative to the tractor can also be adjusted.
