TRACTOR FT 244HRXC: A WARM EXCEPTION AMONG 24-HP REGULARS Working the land in an autumn rain or a biting wind quickly takes its toll. Most 24-horsepower tractors usually leave no choice — freeze out in the open. But this FT 244HRXC is different. A kind of utilitarian factory classic: simple, reliable, without unnecessary frills — and most importantly, it doesn’t let the collar get blown open. An honest and warm choice without extra overpayment. ENGINE Under the hood is a KM385BT diesel with 24 horses (1532 cc displacement), which pulls clearly from the lowest revs. It starts without extra nerves thanks to the electric starter. Cooling is liquid, and a reliable oil bath with a metal mesh is responsible for clean air — it is not afraid of dust. A 29-liter tank is hidden under the hood, and it is convenient to fill through a special flap. And no accidental burns: the exhaust pipe is securely protected. TRANSMISSION AND CHASSIS Thanks to a weight of 1670 kg, the tractor grips the ground confidently and produces a tractive effort of 5.2 kN. Off-road tires with a “herringbone” tread (6.50-16 front and 11.2-24 rear) provide excellent stability, and hydrostatic steering makes maneuvers easy. If it starts to slip — engage the front drive, and for difficult sections — the differential lock. And the gearbox (4x2)+(4x2) helps flexibly choose the speed. THREE-POINT HITCH Thanks to sturdy steel rods and hydraulics, the rear hitch holds loads up to 420 kg without sagging. Flexible adjustments allow leveling for any terrain, and the pins are attached on chains. The power take-off shaft (540 or 1000 rpm) is covered with a protective casing, while the design allows turning the PTO and simultaneously towing a trailer. Rigid steel stays hold the implement, preventing lateral rocking. COMFORT AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT Car-style door handles make it convenient to climb into the operator’s seat. The cab itself is fully glazed and provides all-round visibility, the rear window opens for ventilation, and wipers are installed both front and rear. Additional lights are mounted on the roof, mirrors are held on reinforced mounts. The seat is easily adjustable to individual needs, and the main indicators are placed on a compact and informative illuminated panel. Turn the key, close the door — and bad weather stays behind the glass. The FT 244HRXC tractor does not demand heroism from the driver, it simply works day after day. Simple mechanics and full drive will pull you out of any mud. Practical, comfortable and without unnecessary pomp. All Foton/Lovol tractors come with a 2-year warranty.
