    Variety Blaumeise — Blaumeise is an original bigleaf hydrangea with rich sky-blue inflorescences. A deciduous shrub with strong vigour, it grows up to 2 meters tall, the crown is dense, rounded, symmetrical, up to 2 m in diameter, and is easy to prune. Annual growth up to 25 cm. Flowering is abundant and long-lasting, from June to September. The flowers combine rich blue, violet, and pink colors, gathered in large original umbrella-shaped inflorescences up to 20 cm in diameter. Hydrangea macrophylla Blaumeise grows well in fertile, loose soils with regular watering, does not tolerate waterlogging. A sun-loving plant, but it does not tolerate direct sun rays, light partial shade is required. Cold hardiness is high, suitable for cultivation throughout the territory of Ukraine. Popular in landscape design, used both in solitary plantings and in group compositions; pairs well with conifers, as well as with other deciduous and evergreen ornamental shrubs.
