The garden mower shredder KSP-1 for a walk-behind tractor is designed for mowing tall and short grass of varying density, including thick corn stalks, shredding cut vegetation and distributing processed material on the working surface. Suitable for cleaning large and medium areas, actively used for clearing garden plots with row-planted trees.
The working unit equipped on the KSP-1 mower shredder consists of four knives mounted on a rotor with a 1 meter cutting width. The mechanism is covered by a large metal housing with side boards. On top of the housing a reinforced profile frame with a single-point hitch and metal brackets on bolted joints is welded for fixing the operator's workplace.
The garden mower shredder KSP-1 connects to the walk-behind tractor PTO via a belt drive. The drive mechanism is located in the central part of the housing, equipped with a tension roller and a special device that adjusts the cutting height from 3 to 15 cm. The unit's operation is controlled by the operator – a comfortable plastic seat, a pneumatic transport wheel and a control mechanism with two pedals responsible for the direction of equipment movement during operation are installed on the rear of the body.
