The new shape of the active blade and the adjustable shaker increase the quality of harvesting operations, minimizing unwanted losses.
This potato digger for a motor-block is suitable for any type, with power from 6 horsepower with a water cooling system, and that has a mounted type of attachment. The unit can be used both on small household plots and on areas up to 2 ha. A mandatory condition for quality work is the prior removal of weeds and tops from the field. In this case the equipment productivity reaches up to 0.15 ha/h.
The ergonomic shape of the active blade with which the single-row vibrating digger KRMB-01LE is equipped allows more careful undercutting of the soil, capturing the earth and delivering a large clod of soil together with the root crops onto the shaker grid. The working capture width of the blade is 40 cm, its maximum immersion depth is 18 cm. This width is enough to capture all tubers even in bushes with a branched root system. The processing depth is adjusted by changing the height of the support wheels.
This potato digger for a motor-block is designed for a power take-off (PTO) shaft with belt drive, which starts the rotation of the eccentrics that cause reciprocating motion of the shaker grid and the vibro-knife. Potatoes together with a clod of soil are thrown onto the vibrating grates, the soil falls through the metal rods, and the clean root crop remains on the surface of the field, where it is later collected manually. The unit is equipped with a reinforced frame made of metal profile, the total weight is 43 kg.
