Oversized functional single-furrow plow for the heavy walk-behind tractor PL8 is designed for productive work with agricultural machinery equipped with an engine of at least 8 horsepower with a water cooling system. It has an adjustable elongated frame that represents a movable parallelogram with a shift function of the working body relative to the axis of the vehicle used in work. The required position is set using an adjustable rod; the angular position of the body does not change.
This 1-furrow plow for a walk-behind tractor is ideal for deep cultivation of private land plots; the main condition for quality plowing is the absence of stones, flagstone and other mechanical impurities on the plot. The share penetrates the soil up to 20 cm, the width of the furrow strip is 20 cm. The lifted soil layer with stubble residues and weeds located in it is partially crumbled by the sharpened share, and then finally ground on the mouldboard wing, after which, turning, it lies on the bottom of the furrow. During decomposition, the crushed vegetation forms compost that enriches the soil with useful substances.
All elements of the working unit installed on the single-furrow plow for the heavy walk-behind tractor PL8 are removable, made of heat-treated steel and fixed to the base with screw connections. Therefore, elements that have lost their working qualities due to active operation are easily replaced with new ones. The attack angle of the body is changed by a special screw, and the plowing depth is adjusted using a support wheel.
