Specialized equipment designed for heavy workloads - the two-body plow PL7 for a walk-behind tractor is equipped with all the main functions for performing effective tillage on plots cleared of various mechanical impurities, with light and heavy soils. The adjustable triangular steel frame is equipped with special turnbuckles intended to control transverse and longitudinal position; the unit is mounted to the machine by a single-point hitch.
For mounting the working parts and the support wheel this two-body plow for a walk-behind tractor has reliable mounting brackets located on the frame on both sides - on one side there are two bodies, on the opposite side - the support wheel. All structures are fastened with bolts, which allows easy changing of the elements' positions relative to the frame, taking into account the features of the area to be processed. The plowing depth is adjusted by changing the height of the support wheel (maximum depth 15 cm); the body stands (height 50 cm) also have several mounting holes.
During operation the 2-body plow PL7 for a walk-behind tractor covers a furrow width of up to 30 cm. Sharpened shares made of heat-treated steel easily cut the soil layer to the required depth and deliver it to the steel moldboard, where the soil undergoes full processing - the soil is actively crumbled, plant residues remaining in it are crushed, and then the soil is turned over and remains in the furrow for a long cold period. This type of deep placement allows the soil to be maximally enriched with nutrients and moisture, thereby contributing to increased yields and reducing weed growth.
