Description of the Dongfeng 244DG2 tractor A universal four-wheel-drive tractor with a power of 24 hp is a further modernization of the DF 244DHX model. Designed to perform a wide range of agricultural, transport and other types of work in private households, small and medium farms, and municipal services. Design features of the Dongfeng 244DG2 tractor: new, modern design; reliable 3-cylinder engine with 24 hp; reversible gearbox 8+8; 2-disc clutch; safe engine start, clutch-pedal lock; hydraulic steering with a separate reservoir and hydraulic pump; control levers located at the sides of the seat with multicolored handles; front drive axle disengageable; 2-speed PTO 540/1000 rpm; adjustable front and rear track; wide wheels 6.50-16 / 11.2-24; separate disc brakes on the rear wheels; automotive-type parking brake; hand throttle; rear axle differential lock; powerful three-point linkage; combined oil sump for gearbox and hydraulic system; quick-release towing device with travel limitation. Equipment of the Dongfeng 244DG2 model: instrument panel with separate gauges: digital engine hours meter, analogue gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, ammeter, fuel level indicator; effective front lighting, lens low-beam headlights; additional rear work light; front ballast weights 4x20 kg; adjustable seat with shock absorber; flat floor with rubber mat; operator station fully protected underneath from dirt; transparent mudguards; convenient and wide steps on both sides; electric socket for trailer; mass (battery) disconnect switch; two gas struts for the hood; high muffler with protective cover; rear view mirrors; side roll-bar position/turn signal repeaters; original combined rear stop/taillights, turn indicators; additional rear reflectors; emergency stop signal; one hydraulic outlet.
