Household feed shredder DTZ KR-02T is intended for shredding grains, cobs, corn stalks and other similar feeds during preparation of shredded feeds and feed mixtures. Unlike the DTZ KR-02TA, the DTZ KR-02T model has a copper-wound motor. Distinctive features of the DTZ KR-02T: a durable high-quality paint coating reliably and long-term protects the feed shredder from the effects of moisture and other factors of an aggressive environment; a large loading hopper, made of durable plastic, allows loading a sufficient amount of feed material at once, and a sliding damper allows you to regulate the feed rate into the crushing chamber; in addition, the plastic is not subject to corrosion, so with proper operation the service life of the hopper is practically unlimited; the guide tube for feeding cobs is closed with a plastic lid when not in use, which prevents foreign objects that could disable the hammers and the sieve from getting into the crushing chamber; the sieve "wraps" the working element practically around the entire circumference of the working hopper, thanks to which the shredded material also pours out almost around the entire circumference, which leads to increased productivity; the kit includes 4 sieves coated with a durable anti-corrosion coating, which allows shredding (crushing) material into 4 fractions: 3, 4, 5, 6 mm; the 2.5 kW electric asynchronous motor with copper winding allows the feed shredder to operate for a sufficiently long time at maximum productivity, even with hard corn cobs; the built-in protection against overheating of the motor winding reliably protects the motor from voltage fluctuations in the network and/or when the motor seizes due to foreign objects entering the working area; the working element is made in a classic design: 4 rows of 5 heat-hardened hammers with double-sided dust-like sharpening, which are installed in a staggered arrangement, which significantly increases hammer productivity and wear resistance; unlike many models of other manufacturers, the cob-cutting knife is not simply welded to the working element, but additionally "strung" onto the hammer mounting pin, which protects the working hopper (first of all — the sieve) from damage in case the weld seam fails (as is known, the weld seam "fears" the effect of vibration, which inevitably occurs during the operation of any feed shredder); in addition, the cob-cutting knife is sharpened, which makes the cob cutting softer, thereby significantly reducing vibration and impact force acting on the motor shaft, and therefore the motor service life is increased; additional maintenance comfort of the feed shredder is provided by installing wing nuts instead of regular nuts, which allows quick access to the sieve without using a wrench.
