Productive trailed device - a vibrating potato digger (shvyryalka) for a walk-behind tractor with PTO, one-row Zirka-105, KK18 is designed to be attached to walk-behind tractors that have an air cooling system, rear PTO and a keyway. When using power equipment that has a splined shaft installed, certain modifications to the design and the presence of an additional adapter are recommended.
This model is equipped with a built-in reduction gearbox and drive from the power take-off shaft (PTO) - it is installed on a walk-behind tractor where a speed-reducing gearbox is provided.
The quality of harvesting work depends on the most comfortable level of rotation and vibration, which is provided by the gearbox supplied with the potato digger, with a reduction ratio of 3.5 and a set of gears. This means that the device shaft rpm are 3.5 times lower than the rpm of the PTO shaft of the machine it is attached to and, accordingly, the excavation of the tuber occurs with minimal losses.
The working process starts when torque is received from the tractor PTO to the gearbox shaft or gear-shaft via a cardan shaft. From the secondary shaft of the vibrating potato digger, rotation is transmitted to two eccentrics, which in turn cause reciprocating motion of the pushers responsible for the operation of the vibration knife and the shaking grate - each separately.
The knife is immersed to a set depth in the soil, undercuts a layer of earth together with the tubers, and feeds them onto the trembling grate (hurkut), where excess soil falls through the rods. The working width of the knife is 38.2 cm, its thickness is 5 mm. The grate contains 17 steel tines with a length of 50 centimeters.
The digging depth is controlled by the support wheels with which the vibrating one-row potato digger for a walk-behind tractor with PTO Zirka-105, KK18 is equipped - the immersion depth is adjusted by the diameter and height position of the support wheels, fastened with a bolted connection.
The equipment frame features increased strength due to mounting special crosspieces and reinforcements on the frame. The design has a longitudinal frame 49.5 cm long and a transverse frame 44.5 cm long. The steel profile tube for the longitudinal frame has dimensions 40x40 millimeters with a wall thickness of 2 mm, and the tube for the transverse frame is 50x25 mm with 3 mm.
The weight of the device is 49.3 kg.
The package does not include a cardan shaft - this part is not included in the kit.
