Also the HORST R244DXU has a number of other advantages: long autonomy due to an enlarged 50-liter fuel tank; easy maneuvering with reverse in tight spots by simply switching the reverse lever forward and backward; stability on soil and off-road due to full drive with the ability to lock the rear differential; crop protection during cultivation thanks to 300 mm high clearance; the ability to attach heavy mounted equipment thanks to a two-speed PTO and a two-cylinder hydraulic lifter; the ability to stop the tractor while the implement is attached, because a two-stage 2-disc clutch is installed.
