Description:

Repair rings, installed on piston A 29.01.101-R1 (for pin 12.5 mm) and A 29.05.101-R1 (for pin 15 mm), for compressors of the A 29.xx.xxx series into a cylinder bored to diameter – 72.25 mm. (1 repair)

Consists of:

• Compression ring A 27.02.03.007–01 – 1 pc.
• Compression ring A 27.02.03.008–01 – 1 pc.
• Oil scraper ring A 27.12.41.000 – 1 pc.

The oil scraper ring may be split or solid.

The split ring A 27.12.41.000 consists of:

• Expander A 27.12.40.510 - 1 pc.
• Expander A 27.12.40.511 - 1 pc.
• Segment A 27.12.41.515 – 2 pcs.

During compressor operation, wear and material removal occur on the mating surfaces of the cylinder bore and compressor rings. As a result, scratches, evidence of clearances, cracks, large local wear and other defects may appear on the cylinder bore surface, which are eliminated by boring the cylinder. After boring the cylinder surface it is necessary to replace the set of piston rings in order to maintain the required clearances specified in the compressor documentation and to restore its technical characteristics.
