Rake-tedders for walk-behind tractor and motor-tractor Sonechko, 4 mm spoke (GSM4) are used for raking dried plant mass into windrows, turning and tedding wilted grass in swaths, or turning wet, soaked windrows. The wide working width — 2.7 m — allows the implement to reach maximum productivity — 1.5 ha/h.
The Sonechko rake-tedders are fitted with four raking wheels arranged in sequence with slight overlap of the working zones — this arrangement provides optimal efficiency in collecting finished hay and minimizes losses of dry grass. The wheels are equipped with curved resilient spokes made of high-carbon steel (4 mm thickness); the springs are fixed with bolts to central discs mounted on hubs with sealed bearings. To perform the raking function, it is necessary to reduce the angle of the working elements relative to the direction of travel.
The wheels are mounted in pairs on two steel subframes made of round profile tubes, installed on a common L-shaped frame by means of hinged joints.
