The household feed grinder DTZ KR-02TA is intended for grinding grains, cobs, corn stalks and other similar feeds when preparing ground feeds and feed mixtures. Distinctive features of the DTZ KR-02TA: a strong quality paint coating reliably and long-term protects the feed grinder from the effects of moisture and other factors of an aggressive environment; a large loading hopper, made of durable plastic, allows loading a sufficient amount of feed material at one time, and a sliding damper allows regulation of the feed rate into the crushing chamber; in addition, the plastic is not prone to corrosion, so with proper operation the service life of the hopper is practically unlimited; the guide tube for feeding cobs is closed with a plastic cover when not in use, which prevents foreign objects from entering the crushing chamber that could damage the hammers and the screen; the screen "wraps" the working element almost around the entire circumference of the working hopper, thanks to which the crushed material is also discharged almost around the entire circumference, which leads to increased productivity; the set includes 4 screens coated with a durable anti-corrosion coating, which allows crushing (grinding) material into four fractions: 3, 4, 5, 6 mm; the 2.5 kW electric asynchronous motor with aluminum winding allows the feed grinder to operate for a sufficiently long time at maximum productivity, even with hard corn cobs; the built-in protection against motor winding overheating reliably protects the motor from voltage surges in the network and/or when the motor seizes due to foreign objects entering the working area; the working element is made according to the classic scheme: 4 rows of 5 thermally hardened hammers with double-sided dust-like sharpening, which are installed in a staggered arrangement, allowing a significant increase in hammer productivity and wear resistance; unlike many models from other manufacturers, the cob-cutting knife is not merely welded to the working element but is additionally "strung" on the hammer mounting pin, which protects the working hopper (first of all – the screen) from damage in case the weld seam fails (as is known, a weld seam "fears" the effect of vibration that inevitably occurs during the operation of any feed grinder); in addition, the cob-cutting knife is sharpened, which makes cob cutting smoother, thereby significantly reducing vibration and impact force acting on the motor shaft, and thus increasing the motor's service life; additional servicing convenience of the feed grinder is provided by installing wing nuts instead of ordinary nuts, allowing quick access to the screen without using a wrench.
