Machine for removing feathers from chickens, broilers, ducks SO-550K - a special device designed for automatic removal of plumage from large domestic poultry. In one work cycle (15-20 sec) the unit neatly plucks 2-4 carcasses with a total weight of up to 10 kg, removing up to 90-98% of the feathers from each item.
This machine for removing feathers from chickens, broilers, ducks SO-550K is equipped with a special drum made of food-grade stainless steel with a diameter of 55 cm, mounted on a sturdy square body. Across the entire inner surface of the centrifuge there are flexible rubber plucking fingers in the number of 133 pcs. A rubber hose for automatic water supply is fixed at the top of the drum, connected to a pump located inside the body, next to the motor.
On the side of the body there is a control panel with which the SO-550K machine is put into working condition. There are two separate controls - for turning the motor (power 750 W) and the pump on and off. The unit operates from the standard voltage of 220 V with a current frequency of 50 Hz, which allows connecting the equipment to a regular household network.
The plucking process occurs with the rotating centrifuge turned on - wet carcasses lose their plumage by catching on the uneven surface of the plucking fingers, under the pressure of water the feathers fall to the bottom, are moved by a plastic flap to a special side drain and are discharged outside. In one hour the feather-removing machine for chickens, broilers, ducks SO-550K can process up to 250-350 poultry carcasses.
