Log splitter for tractor mounted - wood shredder DR10 is multifunctional specialized equipment that performs two wood processing operations – shredding fresh cut branches (diameter up to 5 cm) into chips 10–12 cm long, and splitting logs from softwood and dry wood species. Connects to the vehicle PTO with power from 24 horsepower via a driveshaft with 6 splines. The drive mechanism has distinct features - the lower shaft with a gear reducer starts the cutting unit, and the upper shaft drives the conical log splitter.
This chopping machine – log splitter DR10 is mounted on a sturdy profiled frame with three support legs and a tow hitch for attaching a trailer. The cutting mechanism installed inside the crushing chamber consists of eight heat-treated steel knives with double-sided sharpening, fixed to the upper and middle shafts. Oppositely directed shaft rotation is provided by a three-gear reduction system. A metal chopping table and a steel log splitter are located on the side wall of the crushing chamber.
The mounted log splitter for tractor - wood shredder DR10 is aggregated to the tractor by a reinforced three-point hitch. Feeding of raw material for processing is carried out through a wide loading hopper with sides reinforced by a special steel strip. The finished shredded wood is thrown out the opposite side through a round discharge hopper for unloading wood into bags or nets directly during operation.
