Vibrating single-row potato digger for walk-behind tractor, motor tractor KK13
A productive vibrating single-row potato digger for a walk-behind tractor or motor tractor, model KK13, is well suited for work on soils of varying difficulty, previously cleared of tops and weeds with slightly dry loose earth. The potato digger is attached to walk-behind tractors with a water-cooling system and to motor tractors similar to the "Scout" brand.
The operation of this potato digger is based on the principle of belt transmission, where rotational torque from the walk-behind tractor or motor tractor pulley is transmitted to the device pulley. In this model, two eccentrics and two connecting rods are mounted on the shaft opposite the pulley; they are responsible for the movement of the vibrating grid and the vibrating blade, which are driven to work in a reciprocating direction.
Cutting the soil to a maximum depth of up to 15 cm, the vibrating blade, 5 mm thick, lifts the soil with tubers upward and drops it onto the vibrating grate. Active shaking helps clean the potatoes of soil and then throws the roots onto the field in the direction of travel of the vehicle. Thanks to the two separate connecting rods, the blade works more efficiently and minimizes possible crop losses. The working width of the blade is 40 cm, the grate tines are 46 cm long.
Height adjustment of the support wheels and the hitch using a bolted connection allows control of the digging depth, and the presence of an improved tensioner for adjusting the belt length ensures smooth operation of this potato digger.
The vibrating single-row potato digger for walk-behind tractor and motor tractor KK13 has a sturdy frame made of longitudinal and transverse elements manufactured from 2 mm thick profile steel tubing with a 40x40 mm cross-section. The longitudinal frame length is 36.5 cm, the transverse frame is 45 cm. Frame strength is increased by specially installed crosspieces and reinforcements on the frame. The alignment (position) of the pulley located on the upper shaft, as well as its fixation, are adjusted by means of a slot. This potato digger model is designed to operate in a track width of no more than 70 - 80 cm, and when aggregated with other types of transport it is recommended to additionally install a universal transition plate.
