Vibrating single-row potato digger for Zirka-105 walk-behind tractor (KK9)
The modernized vibrating single-row potato digger for the Zirka-105 walk-behind tractor (KK9) has high productivity - up to 95% on fields up to 2 hectares. With equal effectiveness this model can be used both for digging potatoes and for harvesting garlic, onions, turnips and certain varieties of carrots.
This vibrating digger for a walk-behind tractor operates on the standard principle for such models - an active blade undercuts a large layer of soil containing the potatoes, lifts the tubers up and throws them onto the vibrating sieve. Due to the strong vibration of the blade and the sieve, adhered soil is shaken off the tubers, and then the root crops are dropped onto the field, where they are collected into sacks by hand.
The single-row potato digger KK9 can penetrate the soil to a maximum depth of 20 centimeters, the working blade width is 40 cm, which is quite sufficient for quality harvesting - virtually all potatoes planted by hand or mechanically are dug up. The equipment works excellently on fields with light and medium-heavy soils that are well dried. The working area should first be cleared of weeds and potato tops cut off.
For the walk-behind tractor digger to harvest with maximum productivity and minimal losses, work should be performed at reduced engine speeds with increased traction. Travel speed on fields with difficult soil should not exceed 2 km/h, and on fields with light soil is permitted up to 1 km/h.
The single-row KK9 digger design uses various elements: a clutch assembly, tension roller, drive pulley of the wheels, two connecting rods and two eccentrics, a sieve, frame and vibrating blade. When the walk-behind tractor engine is started, the belt drive sets the eccentrics and connecting rods in motion, which are responsible for the operation of the vibrating sieve and blade. The sieve and blade move simultaneously in opposite directions, which provides a smooth operation of this walk-behind tractor digger and dampens unwanted amplitude.
Single-row potato digger KK9: main advantages of this model:
Presence of two connecting rods and two eccentrics.
Can be used to harvest onions, garlic, turnips.
High productivity on fields up to 2 ha.
Work productivity - up to 0.2 hectares per hour.
Low equipment weight - 45 kg.
Compatible towing vehicle: walk-behind tractor
