TRACTOR SHIFENG 240BFL: WHAT COUCHES KEEP QUIET ABOUT OR THE REAL AMBITIONS OF A BELT-DRIVEN 24 If you have just climbed down from the couch or are a beginning farmer with big ambitions who values maneuverability and time-proven reliability without extra hassle from repairs — sit on the SHIFENG 240BFL tractor. Do not leave room for doubts like “maybe it would have been worth it or I wanted something more?”. It will rattle, but it will pull and work confidently! ENGINE Flip the hood forward, releasing the latches. Under it is hidden a 1-cylinder diesel — the 138 engine (SF138-2) with 1.53 L, producing 24 hp. The engine is protected from overheating by a liquid cooling system with forced circulation (a pump installed) and an automobile-type radiator. And a proven and reliable contact-oil filter cares for its clean “breathing”. Due to fuel efficiency, the 9 L tank is enough for prolonged work. TRANSMISSION AND CHASSIS A solid front axle on springs with ball joints softly absorbs shocks, and mechanical steering guarantees reliability without the risk of hydraulic leaks. The rear drive axle works together with a super-strong gearbox 3×2+1: 6 forward gears and 1 reverse allow precise speed selection, and the offset gear lever makes shifting convenient. Confident passability on difficult and wet soils is achieved thanks to the differential lock. HITCH SYSTEM A full 3-point hitch raises implements up to 300 kg, and an additional hydraulic outlet allows work with trailed implements. A separate 3.2 L hydraulic tank ensures system autonomy and supply of clean oil without contamination from the gearbox. The standard 6-spline PTO (540 rpm) guarantees full compatibility with powered implements, and the removable pendulum drawbar with a vertical pin is responsible for reliable coupling with trailers. COMFORT AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT Equipment includes a full set of lighting and signaling, as well as a trailer socket. Separate indicators on the instrument panel are reliable in operation and easy to replace. Visibility is improved by large mirrors on rigid supports, and handles on the rear fenders add convenience while moving. The fenders themselves completely cover the wheels, protecting from dirt. An installed seat with suspension, next to which on the right fender there is a convenient toolbox. Key in the starter, a few meters in the field — and all doubts disappear. The SHIFENG 240BFL tractor is made not for shows, but for real man’s work. Thanks to the belt drive it is simple and understandable — it will plow for results and pull reliably from day one.
