Description of the unit:
Compressor A 29.02.000, with an old-model air-cooled head. It is installed on VTZ diesel engines D-37, D-144 and D-120 (D-21) in front of the fuel pump. The mounting location is the same as for the fuel pump, so a high-pressure fuel pump can be installed instead of the compressor.
Engines D-144 and D-21 (D-120) are fitted to tractors and self-propelled chassis: LTZ T-40, T-25, T-55, T-60A, DVSSh-16, T-16MG, KhTZ-2511, SS-25, SS-2540. They are also widely used as diesel power units and power supply units in compact, municipal, railway, military and construction equipment.
