The spreading mechanism installed on the 400 liter Jar-Met mineral fertilizer spreader is a stainless steel disc with six blades, connected to the PTO of the tractor using an angle drive and driveshaft. The working unit is mounted at the bottom, under the funnel-shaped plastic hopper - there are two openings at the bottom of the tank for supplying fertilizers and a small steel agitator. The device is attached by bolted connections to a bent profiled frame, reinforced with welded metal corner strips and a brace.
The fertilizer spreader for mini tractor 400 liters Jar-Met (stainless steel disc) is paired with equipment of at least 22 horsepower using a rear three-point hitch. During operation, fertilizers loaded into the hopper flow onto the rotating disc in strictly dosed quantities and are spread over the area to the set distance. The application rate of fertilizers is adjusted by changing the blade angle - from 8 to 24 meters, dosing accuracy is adjusted by a special manual mechanism with a control lever and two shutters that close and open the hopper outlet openings.
