A capacious hopper for spreading mineral fertilizer Strumyk (RUM for 500 kg) is used for spraying mineral fertilizers on seed plots of any size. The capacity of the hopper allows fairly efficient work for a long time without frequent stops for refilling. The tank is made of durable plastic, has a conical shape, and there are blades inside the body for mixing and delivering fertilizer through special openings in the bottom of the hopper to the sowing disc.
The intensity of feeding mineral fertilizers to the disc mechanism is controlled by a dosing device - two flaps with a handle located in the lower part of the hopper. The disc has six elongated blades, with which the Strumyk 500 fertilizer spreader sprays fertilizer over the field surface to the set width. The working width can be changed from 6 to 14 m using additional holes for fixing the blades.
A sturdy rounded frame made of metal pipe has a three-point hitch for mounting to a vehicle. The Strumyk fertilizer spreading hopper (RUM for 500 kg) is driven by the PTO, a special metal deflector in front of the unit protects the equipment from substances getting onto the tractor mechanisms. The plastic hopper is highly resistant to aggressive mineral fertilizers; the body is coated with a special anti-corrosion paint. For quality fertilizer spraying, the working speed of the vehicle should not exceed 13 km/h.
