Description:

The repair kit is used in pumps 740.1307010-02, 1307010-10, 1307010-11 that have the same internal construction.

All spare parts of the water pumps for KAMAZ 740 engines, Ural 4320 vehicles, ZiL-133GY, except for the pump housing and pulley, are standard and interchangeable.

Before repairing the water pump, check the mating surfaces of the housing for cracks and voids. If cracks are found, the housing must be rejected. Voids can be filled with a high-temperature polymer compound and ground down.

Repair the water pump carefully, lubricating with sealant the seating surfaces of all sealing elements of the pump through which fluid could leak into the bearing cavity. Protect the seal spring from corrosion with a grease. Check the graphite sealing ring of the seal and the thrust washer for paint. The seal and washer must form an even contact patch. Then apply a layer of graphite grease to speed up the running-in of the rotating parts of the Ural-4320 pump.

Install the impeller on the shaft after preliminarily lubricating the mating surfaces with sealant. After installing the impeller, also lubricate the lock washer 870641 and the capped impeller nut 870502 with a high-temperature sealant and tighten.

Introduce 50 g of grease into the bearing cavity through a grease fitting until it appears from the drain hole. Do not close the drain hole.
