Planter for garlic and onion 2-row CHSN-2 (2 sets of cups - 23 mm and 26 mm) is designed to work with a tiller. The design of the planter hitch unit for onion and garlic is made for single-point tiller-type mounting. The garlic planter is intended for use with a tiller with power from 8 hp. When using the garlic planter with a motor-tractor more powerful than 12 hp, a limited warranty is provided. In such cases you must operate carefully, monitoring the load on the garlic and onion planter units.
Purpose and conditions of use of the CHSN-2 garlic planter
The mounted garlic planter is intended for planting garlic cloves, single-clove garlic and onion sets on pre-cultivated and prepared soils, with soil moisture no more than 30%. For planting you must use calibrated planting material sized 15-28 mm.
Design features of the CHSN-2 garlic planter
The capacity of the seed material hopper is 7 liters x 2 pcs. The dosing mechanism is driven by a support-drive wheel. Row spacing in the row: 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, is adjusted by changing the gear ratio on the chain gearbox of the garlic planter. A tensioner is used to compensate the chain length. The furrower and coverers are adjustable, planting depth – 30-100 mm.
