The row hiller for a walk-behind tractor PD9 performs two functions at once - inter-row weeding and hilling of planted crops. The arrow-shaped flat cutters located at the front loosen the topsoil well, effectively removing weeds along with their roots, while the disc-shaped hillers at the rear form a neat earthen ridge, gently covering the vegetation.
The working tools fitted to the row hiller PD9 are made of quality hardened steel. The stands of the arrow-shaped blades have special mounting holes that allow quick adjustment of the working depth by changing the working height of the tools - up to 15 cm. The disc hillers are fastened with bolts in adjustable round holders welded to brackets located on a profiled steel frame with a working width of 40 cm. The brackets are fixed to the frame with bolt connections, can freely move along the tube and be set at the required distance from each other.
This row hiller for a walk-behind tractor PD9 is intended for engines with air or water cooling systems, with power from 8 horsepower. It connects to the machine with a special single hitch. The unit handles all types of soil excellently, showing a maximum productivity of 0.3 ha/h.
