TRACTOR SHIFENG 240BFLU: A REAR-DRIVE BROTHER OF A WALK-BEHIND TRACTOR, BUT WITH POWER ASSIST Been bending your back, breaking your hands — familiar situation? You haven't even done a proper day's work, and all you can think about is rest. A walk-behind tractor seems to be enough, but you don't want to spend your health on it anymore. Dream of fully controlling work without unnecessary overspending on small plots? In that case the Shifeng 240BFLU tractor will be the practical solution you need! ENGINE Traction is provided by a 1-cylinder diesel SF138-2 at 2200 rpm, producing 24 hp. The electric starter fires the engine from half a turn, and if you need to start manually — the decompressor comes into play. During intense hot work the engine breathes freely thanks to a reliable oil-bath air filter that effectively traps dust, and liquid cooling with an automotive-type radiator reliably protects against overheating under highest loads. TRANSMISSION AND CHASSIS A solid front beam with a fixed track of 1.25 m and tie-rods is installed at the front, and reinforced rear lugs from size 40 at the back. Smooth ride and stability for the 1078 kg weight are guaranteed by the front spring suspension and equalizers on both axles. A reliable belt drive transmits a tractive effort of 4.5 kN to the rear wheels. Ease of control is provided by the gearbox (3x2)+1 with offset main and auxiliary levers for high and low speeds. THREE-POINT HITCH A separate double-acting hydraulic cylinder works for lifting and forced lowering with equipment weighing up to 300 kg. The lower links are made for the standard 20-size "apple" hitch. The hydraulic distributor is equipped with flow rate adjustment and a separate outlet for external hydraulics. For working with trailers and implements there is a towing hook and a 6-spline power take-off shaft at 540 rpm under a protective plastic cover. COMFORT AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT The operator seat is conveniently adjustable for reach, and on the wide trapezoidal right rear fender, which fully covers the wheel, there are a toolbox and an additional lamp. A quick-turn handle is installed on the steering column. On the right of the column are the ignition switch and a multifunction light switch. The ergonomics are complemented by a clear and minimalist instrument panel with separate gauges. Iron equipment without iron nerves — that is what the 24 hitched "horses" of the belt-driven Shifeng 240BFLU tractor are capable of!
