Description of the Centaur MB 1010DE motor-cultivator: The design of the diesel Centaur motor-cultivator models with liquid cooling is practically identical; the difference is in the power of the engines installed on them (8, 10 and 12 hp) and the method of their starting. Models with the index “D” have only manual engine start. Models with the index “DE” are equipped with an electric starter, which significantly simplifies starting, especially at low ambient temperatures. In addition to the electric starter, the electrical equipment includes a battery, an ignition switch, an ammeter and a master switch. The electrical equipment is housed in a sturdy metal box mounted on the motor-cultivator’s handlebar. Motor-cultivators with manual start can be additionally retrofitted with an electric starter. However, such an operation requires not only additional financial expenses to purchase components, in particular to replace the flywheel, but also sufficient technical qualification of the installer, since partial disassembly of the motor-cultivator is required. Features of the Centaur MB 1010DE model: reliable gearbox with simplified shifting of low and high gears; two-disc clutch for more reliable and smooth starting; four-groove pulley to ensure maximum torque transmission and reduce slippage of the V-belt drive; increased track width - 740 mm; smooth track adjustment, allowing the motor-cultivator to be adapted to different usage conditions (for different row spacing of crops); cast-iron crankcase cover; five-point frame mounting; metal fuel tank; reinforced perforated radiator grille; comfortable and soft handlebar grips; extended zip.
