Description of the DTZ 517BN - K rotary tiller (wheels 5.00-12) The DTZ 517BN-K rotary tiller is the most powerful tiller among the “DTZ” models. This tiller is equipped with a reliable gasoline 4-stroke engine with a power of 17 hp; the rest of the equipment of this model is similar to the DTZ 513BN-K model. The increased engine power made it possible to equip the tiller with a wider ground rotary cutter with a maximum working width of 1400 mm. This is the largest cutter working width among DTZ tillers. DTZ-K tillers are equipped with a new-type gearbox. Main advantages of the new gearbox: a separate reverse gear/transfer in the gearbox (easier to control which gear is engaged); reduced rotation speed of 1st gear (better and more precise work with mounted equipment); a detachable rear housing cover; reinforced mounting for active mounted equipment; a visual oil level sensor for gearbox oil. The tiller has large transport pneumatic wheels 5.00-12 with a herringbone-type tread and a removable lamp mounted on the steering column. Therefore this tiller is suitable not only for use in private farms, but also for professional use in vegetable gardens, orchards and greenhouse complexes, as well as as a transport vehicle for carrying loads on a special trailer. All DTZ tillers come with a 2-year warranty.
