Description of the DTZ MB 40-1S/G-3F rotary tiller (wheels 5.00-10) The DTZ 40-1S/G-3F rotary tiller is a new model in the line of powerful professional-level DTZ gasoline tillers. The model is designed for soil cultivation on medium and large plots, including heavy, compacted and sodded soils. The DTZ 40-1S/G-3F works confidently both on cultivated soil and on compacted ground, providing stable traction and high productivity. The tiller is perfectly suited for use where tractor work is impractical or impossible: in vegetable gardens, household plots, orchards, vineyards, greenhouses, and on plots with difficult terrain. The heart of the tiller is a Loncin G420FD gasoline engine with 16 hp and a displacement of 420 cm³. The engine is started by an electric starter or a manual starter, which provides convenience of operation in any conditions. The Loncin G420FD engine meets modern environmental requirements and is Euro-5 certified, confirming its high quality, efficiency and reduced level of harmful emissions. A foam-type air filter with an oil bath reliably protects the engine from dust and dirt, significantly extending its service life. One of the key advantages of the DTZ 40-1S/G-3F is the layout typical of professional machines: a rear active rotary tiller driven via a direct gear drive. This design significantly reduces the load on the operator’s hands and makes working with the tiller easier, more stable and predictable even during prolonged cultivation. The rotary tiller consists of 6 sections (24 blades), has a working width of up to 660 mm and provides a cultivation depth of up to 200 mm. High chopping efficiency allows work without problems even in the presence of plant residues and weeds. Travel of the tiller is provided by pneumatic wheels sized 5.00–10, equipped with wheel differentials. The presence of differentials significantly increases maneuverability: the tiller turns easily, does not damage the soil during turns and requires less physical effort from the operator. This is especially important when working on confined plots, in row spacing and greenhouses, as well as during transport. The gear gearbox has 3 forward gears, 2 reverse gears and a neutral gear, allowing you to choose the optimal speed for various types of work — from cultivation to towing with a trailer. The presence of neutral allows rolling the tiller without the engine running. The tiller’s handlebar is equipped with quick adjustment for height and direction, allowing easy adaptation to the operator’s height and working conditions, increasing comfort and reducing fatigue.
