The DTZ 470BN, thanks to its V-belt drive, has a number of significant advantages over tillers of similar power but with a direct gear drive. First of all, the belt drive at the same time serves as the power transmission, the clutch, and an element of the safety system. If during work the tiller suddenly jams on a stone or stick, the belt drive will cushion the impact and prevent damage to the engine and gearbox. In addition, a belt-driven tiller is significantly lighter in weight and cheaper in price, as well as simpler and more convenient to operate and maintain. A gasoline engine at the same power costs less than a diesel one, has lower weight, which is important for ease of handling the tiller, starts easily at low air temperatures, produces less noise, and is also simpler and cheaper to maintain and operate, less sensitive to fuel quality. This tiller has a bracket for front-mounted implements, for example a mower, which can be easily connected using the free pulley on the drive pulley. The handlebar adjustment for height and steering angle is quick and convenient; the tiller tine working width is adjustable: 570 and 810 mm. All DTZ tillers come with a 2-year warranty.
