    Variety KASANDRACherry Kasandra (Kasandra) – an early large-fruited Czech cherry variety, a novelty in Ukraine, introduced recently. The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Bigarro Burlat and Sunburst. It ripens 2–4 days after the parent variety Bigarro Burlat - in early June. It is well pollinated by such varieties as Early Korvik, Korda, Schneiders, Georgia, Carmen, Canada Giant, Skyna, and possibly by other local varieties that bloom at this time. The fruits are large, weighing 10–12 g, up to 30 mm in diameter, broadly heart-shaped, dark red in color and nearly brownish-black when fully ripe. The skin is of medium thickness. The flesh is of medium firmness, red, moderately juicy. Red juice. The taste is sweet, very tasty, spicy, aromatic, with minimal acidity. The stalk is long, of medium thickness.
