Branch shredder for the RM-80T walk-behind tractor (wood shredder) - a compact device designed to produce fuel material from woodworking waste, cut branches of soft and hard tree species (diameter 6 - 8 cm), shrubs and wild shoots. Quickly processes wood into chips sized from 8 to 17 cm, producing up to 5 m3 of finished product per hour. Very well suited for use in municipal, forestry and farming operations.
The cutting system installed on the RM-80T branch shredder (wood chopper) consists of six heat-treated steel knives (8 mm thick) with single-sided sharpening. The working unit is connected to the PTO of a walk-behind tractor with 18 horsepower, and is started by a belt drive. The unit is equipped with a reinforced high-profile frame with stable support legs.
Wood for processing is loaded into a long, safety-shrouded square feed hopper and fed into the RM-80T branch shredder (wood shredder) onto actively rotating crushing elements. The cut finished wood is discharged through a wide outlet opening with a round chute, to which bags for collecting firewood can be attached.
