Description of the electric cultivator Centaur KE 2000-R. The garden-and-vegetable electric cultivator KE2000-R is a new model in the "CENTAUR" cultivator line, designed for quick and efficient soil loosening on plots up to 0.05 hectares (5 sotkas), as well as on beds, flowerbeds, in gardens and vineyards. The electric cultivator is equipped with a 3-section tiller with a cultivation width of 200/350/430 mm, which allows soil to be loosened with maximum precision and neatness next to tree trunks, bushes or other plantings, as well as near fences, curbs, around posts, decorative park structures and rock gardens. Thanks to the reliable 2 kW electric motor, the cultivator is capable of effectively loosening soil in one, two or three passes to a depth of up to 230 mm, even in fairly compact soils. Drive of the electric cultivator is carried out by a V-belt transmission with a controlled pressure roller. The belt drive serves simultaneously as the power transmission, clutch and a protection and safety element. If during operation the tiller suddenly jams on a stone or stick, the belt drive will dampen the impact and prevent damage to the motor and gearbox. The driving and driven pulleys, as well as the pressure roller, are not plastic but metal, therefore they have a long service life. The V-belt has high traction characteristics. For safety and protection from dirt the entire belt transmission is reliably covered by a casing. The tiller consists of four template-shaped blades in each section. The blades are made of structural sheet steel. The spiral arrangement of the blades reduces vibration and ensures uniform loading on the gearbox. The blade formula (1+1+1) on each side allows selecting the required cultivation width as precisely as possible for a wide variety of crops.
