Description:

Its distinguishing feature is the standard bearing width and the SP-1341 seal, of a modern and more advanced design.

Such a repair kit is installed in the pump of the D-260 engine with housing 260-1307121 after 2008.

The pump shaft is designed to accommodate three half-closed or closed bearings. The water pump seal is non-serviceable, self-preloading cartridge type. It is pressed into the seal housing and accordingly onto the shaft using a driver. A bead of silicone sealant is applied to the seal housing, which is necessary for additional sealing and to prevent coolant leakage in case of pits and other casting defects in the pump housing seating area.

This repair kit is interchangeable with parts of water pumps of earlier D-260 engine productions and has an increased service life. The D-260 engine is installed in MTZ-1221, MTZ-1522, 1523 tractors, Belarus 2022, AMKODOR loaders, and NIVA Effect SK-5 combines.
