The hay rakes "Sonechko" for a walk-behind tractor, 4-wheel version, have a sturdy steel frame made of round bent tubing with a single-point hitch equipped with two springs for quick setting of the working position and precise contour following of the worked area. The implement is used for raking and forming windrows of finished dry hay or for tedding mown vegetation to accelerate drying.
The "Sonechko" hay rakes attach to a walk-behind tractor with power from 10 horsepower. The four working wheels have a total working width of 2.7 m. The wheels are mounted in pairs on two subframes, the subframes are fixed to the main frame, and each wheel is equipped with curved spokes made of durable steel wire. The wheel hubs are fitted with bearings; the spokes are fastened to the hubs with bolted connections.
Thanks to the sequential arrangement of the working wheels, the 4-wheel "Sonechko" hay rakes for a walk-behind tractor efficiently ted and rake plant mass, demonstrating a maximum productivity of 1.5 ha/h. When contacting the field surface, the wheels begin to rotate intensively, lifting and delivering the grass to each subsequent wheel. In this way, maximum raking of dry vegetation and quality formation of side windrows occurs. For tedding hay that is drying, it is sufficient to change the device’s angle of inclination.
