Rake-tedder for the mini tractor "Sonechko", 3-wheel, can perform two work operations - raking finished dried material into side windrows or effective tedding of hay for final drying. They are mounted on tractors with power from 8 horsepower using a three-point hitch system made of reinforced profile tube. The hitch is equipped with a floating mechanism and a tension spring device, which allows the unit to maneuver easily on any terrain.
These tedders for mini tractor have four working elements - metal wheels (rim diameter 100 cm) with curved removable steel spokes that protrude 30 cm beyond the rim. The removable wheels are attached to a hub equipped with sealed ball bearings (2 on each) with four bolts. Two pairs of wheels are fixed by separate brackets on two subframes, which in turn are fastened to the main frame using special bushings. The main frame and brackets are provided with limit chains.
When the machine moves, the wheels with which the rake-tedder for the mini tractor "Sonechko", 3-wheel, is equipped rotate quickly due to the tight contact of the spokes with the working surface - grass caught by the first wheel successively reaches all the following, actively rotating elements and is finally formed into a side windrow by the last wheel. By changing the angle of the working unit relative to the direction of travel of the machine, the unit performs tedding of the raked material. In a single pass the device processes an area 230 cm wide, showing maximum productivity - 2 ha/h.
