Description of the unit:

Two-cylinder compressor A 29.14.000 manufactured by “ADVIS”, with a petal-type water-cooled head. Its Belarusian analogue is compressor PK-310 produced by “BZA”.

Installed on diesel engines MMZ D-265, YaMZ-236NE, YaMZ-236A, YaMZ-238A. These engines are fitted in heavy trucks and tractor units: ZIL, MAZ, KRAZ-7133, Ural, and in buses: MAZ, Ikarus, LiAZ-42078, LiAZ-5256, Neman-5201, 52012, LAZ-5252.

The compressor is supplied with a liquid (water) cooled head A 29.14.003 with petal valves and a cylinder block consisting of two standard liners A 29.14.007 with a diameter of 72 mm. Cooled by an airflow due to the large finned surface of the cylinder.

This compressor is highly standardized in parts with compressors A 29.03.000 and A 29.05.000. Therefore the front and rear crankcase covers, cylinders, pistons, connecting rods and valves are interchangeable.

Because of high maintainability, simplicity, availability, wide distribution and universality of spare parts, many craftsmen build fairly powerful and reliable garage compressors for small household needs from this compressor for little money.
