Description:

Repair kit for pump A-41, A-01 and water pumps D-442, D-461 with code 01-13s3-1G, 01-13s3-2G and housing 03-1301-2 for installation with the new type oil seal.

Composition of the 01-13S9 seal for the new-type impeller:

• Retainer 01-1327 – 1 pc.
• Seal ring 01-13s5-1 – 1 pc.
• Sliding ring 01-1328 – 1 pc.

Steel sliding bushing 01-1324 is soldered into the impeller 01-13s4-2A made of plastic and during operation it slides on the graphite ring of the mechanical seal of the impeller from the repair kit.

The housing of the water pump seal is steel, with a steel spring inside. When installing it is advisable to lubricate it with sealant, the spring with water-resistant grease, and the sealing ring of the oil seal with graphite grease. This will help extend the service life of the impeller seal.

The pumps on engines A-41, A-01 use bearings without protective shields to allow pump lubrication through a grease fitting. Accordingly, the repair kit contains open 305 bearings and one 304, which are protected by rubber reinforced seal rings. The seal rings prevent lubricant from leaking out of the bearings during operation. Closed and semi-closed bearings can be used; in that case the grease is packed into them for the entire service life of the pump.

The pump drive is belt-driven, carried out from the engine crankshaft pulley. Structurally, pumps A-41, A-01 are identical. They differ from each other by pulley diameter and, accordingly, by the transmission ratio of the belt drive.
