Description:

Repair kit for water pumps of GAZ, ZMZ, UMZ engines that have similar construction and catalog codes.

Installed in pump housing 21-1307015-D of vehicles GAZ-21, GAZ-51, GAZ-52, PAZ, UAZ-469, UAZ-3151. The water pump with this repair kit and housing 24-1307015 was installed in GAZ-24-01. The pump with housing 66-1307015-B is installed in GAZ-53, GAZ-66, PAZ, and has exactly the same shaft, seal and bearings as other water pumps of GAZ, UMZ and ZMZ engines with the felt seal of the old design.

The pump sealing is achieved by sliding of a graphite or textolite sealing washer against the sleeve of the pump housing. The seal is inserted into the impeller, which is mounted on the pump shaft with a flat and thread required for reliable fixation of the impeller.

The felt seal consists of the following parts:

• Spring – 12-1307034-A2
• Retainer – 12-1307052-B
• Seal ring – 11-8528-B
• Seal sleeve – 11-8515-A3
• Sliding washer of the water pump seal – 24-1307041

The repair kit is standard and fits coolant water pumps of the old-design systems of various equipment with engines: UMZ, GAZ, PAZ, ZMZ, but their impellers have different designs and are not interchangeable.
