The mounted disc harrow for tractor Bomet 3.15 m has a strong frame made of profile tubes, reinforced with welded steel angles and braces. Four working sections are attached at the outer corner points - concave spherical discs with a sharply ground cutting edge, made of boron steel. Each section consists of seven discs arranged on an axle; the sections are fixed to the profile and attached to the frame with bolted connections, which allows adjusting the required attack angle (from 70 to 220), depending on the characteristics of the area being worked.
The Bomet 3.15 m disc harrow is mounted to a tractor with power from 100 horsepower using a reinforced rear three-point hitch system. The unit is intended for preliminary soil cultivation on large sowing areas - active shredding and incorporation of plant residues, cutting and loosening of the lower soil layer, destruction of weeds and pests, leveling of the topsoil layer to lock in moisture.
The equipment can also be used for mixing organic and mineral fertilizers with the soil, intensive loosening of a densely turfed layer on pastures and meadows, and shredding of post-harvest residues. In one pass the mounted disc harrow for tractor Bomet 3.15 m efficiently treats an area 3.15 m wide - as the machine moves the actively rotating discs tear the topsoil, penetrating the soil to a depth of 14 to 17 cm, effectively loosening and grinding the soil to a homogeneous fraction. The maximum capacity of the unit is 1.2 ha/h.
