The two-body plow for mini tractor PTr 2-20 is used for effective preparation of medium land plots and virgin areas for sowing operations – it performs quality soil cultivation with deep burial of plant residues - up to 20 cm. It is designed to work with mini tractors with power of at least 12 hp, attaches to equipment by a rear three-point hitch system reinforced with a long round spreader.
The two-body plow PTr 2-20 is equipped with a welded triangular frame made of thick-walled profile tubes. Two steel plow bodies are firmly fixed to the frame with pressure plates and bolted connections. The height of the body stands is fixed – 45.5 cm, the working width of the cut is 40 cm. Replaceable shares are fastened to the body base with screws, and if necessary are easily removed and replaced with new parts. Steel adjustable plates are installed on the mouldboards for more complete turnover of soil layers during plowing.
A mounting with a small steel scraper for cleaning soil off the wheel that adheres is welded to the support wheel post installed on the two-body plow for mini tractor PTr 2-20. The post is fixed to the frame with movable bolted connections with pressure plates, and is equipped with a special bracket with a long lever designed to control the working position of the wheel during the plowing process. The unit handles any soil well, including areas with dense turf soils, showing a maximum productivity of 0.3 – 0.4 ha/h.
