Original productive model - two-row potato planter for tractor KS12 is designed for an efficient workflow for planting seed potatoes on prepared medium and large sowing areas. It is attached to equipment with power from 10 horsepower via a rear three-point hitch. The working units are fixed firmly on the frame, with a row spacing of 60 cm and reinforced with turnbuckles.
Each working unit has separate chain drives with a set of interchangeable sprockets for adjusting the planting spacing. This potato planter for a mini tractor has planting spacings of 20, 25 cm. Changes to the distance between tubers are made by moving the drive chain to a different sprocket. Additionally, the drive mechanism has two roller tensioners that ensure quality conveyor operation without losses and skips, with a maximum productivity of 0.2 ha/h.
The planting devices with which the mini tractor planter is equipped are elevator-type - on a roller chain baskets made of steel wire are fixed at equal intervals. The planting mechanisms are driven by traction wheels through chain drives - the baskets hook the tubers, deliver them to the guide section, from where the root crop falls into the furrow and is covered with soil from both sides by two disc hillers.

The hillers are distinguished by high mobility thanks to bearings and universal mounts, which allow easy adjustment of height and angle of attack.
